- Will the site stay up after I'm gone?
- Yes. A Forever Memorial site has no expiry and no recurring charge. As long as Givouh exists, the site exists. If we ever wind down, you receive an export in advance and at least 90 days to migrate.
- Can family and friends add their own memories without signing up?
- Yes. You enable the contributions block, set whether memories appear immediately or after your approval, and share the link. Anyone with the link can add a memory, photo, or audio note. You stay in control of what shows up.
- Is the memorial private?
- By default the site is unlisted — not in search results, not in any directory. You choose whether to share the link publicly, with close family only, or behind a password. You can change your mind at any time.
- Why pay once instead of a subscription?
- A memorial isn't a service you cancel. We don't want a grieving family to receive a renewal email. €95 once, and it's done.
- Can I include audio of their voice, or video?
- Yes. You can upload up to 10 GB total per memorial — that's hundreds of voicemails, recordings, or short video clips. Files are stored on Cloudflare R2, encrypted at rest.
- What if I need help during a hard time?
- Email support@givouh.com and a human will respond within a day, often within hours. We do not use AI chatbots for memorial support.
- Can I move the site to my own domain later?
- Yes. The first year of custom domain is included with Forever Memorial. Renewal is €19/year — or you can keep your free Givouh subdomain and the site stays online either way. We walk you through the DNS in two minutes.
